A party, a tournament, a talk, a weekend away: student unions, societies and clubs run it all in one place. Create the event, open bookings, free or paid, manage the door and find the album, where your students already are. With no commission.
Everything in one place
Ticketing with no commission
You sell tickets through your own Stripe account: the money goes to you, never to Ephemeria. 0% commission; only Stripe’s processing fees apply, deducted from your payouts. Card, and Apple Pay where the buyer’s device supports it.
One ticket per student
One named ticket per student per event, with its QR code. The place is held for 30 minutes during payment, and the ticket is issued as soon as Stripe confirms. Price and currency are fixed on the order.
Scanning at the door
For each event, choose the attendance mode: ticket scan at the door, or self-confirmation by attendees. A ticket only goes through once, even with several phones scanning.
Co-organisers, for one event
Add co-organisers who can scan tickets for that event, and only that one. They have no power over payments, refunds or the association.
The Minute, nothing to tick
On an event marked “free entry”, the Minute is armed automatically: one unpredictable minute, one photo per person, 90 seconds. Nobody has to remember it on the day.
The 11:00 album
At 11:00, once your event is over, its Nebula opens for everyone who was there: everyone’s photos, at their real minute, each signed by its author.
The money, clearly
- Your association is the seller. Payments are collected on your Stripe Connect account; Ephemeria never receives the funds and adds no fee for the buyer.
- Full refunds only, at your initiative: the event is cancelled, or you decide to. They always go back to the card that paid and cancel the ticket.
- A duplicate payment is refunded to the buyer automatically. If no ticket can be issued after payment (event full), the buyer is refunded in full, automatically.
- Payment disputes and their fees are borne by the association; the ticket concerned is suspended while the dispute is open.
- Free transfers between verified students on the same campus, until the event starts. The old code is cancelled at once. Resale is not allowed.
Getting started
Create your events
In the app, with a start and end time, a place and the attendance mode you choose. An end time is required for self-confirmation.
Email us to sell tickets
At launch, we link your association’s Stripe account ourselves, after verification. Email support@ephemeria.app from the address of the person responsible for the association.
Open your sales
Once the account is linked, your paid tickets are on sale in the app. Your contact details are on every ticket: you answer questions about the event, entry and refunds.
An event’s attendance mode and times lock when it starts, or as soon as the first attendance is recorded. Never confirm attendance that didn’t happen.
Your attendees’ data
You see what you need to organise: the name, the ticket, attendance and the answers you asked for. You use them only for the event, your tickets and your legal obligations: no commercial export, no sharing with third parties.
