Community guidelines
Ephemeria brings together adult students on the same campus to keep the memory of events lived together. These rules apply everywhere: profiles, posts, messages, events, photos and listings.
Adults only
Every account belongs to one adult student, under their real name. No fake accounts, no shared accounts.
The rules
- Respect: no harassment, threats, insults, hateful or discriminatory content.
- Consent: no photo of a recognisable person without their agreement, never an intimate image, no disclosure of personal details.
- Honesty: only declare attendance at an event you were actually at. No ticket resale.
- Legality: no selling drugs, weapons or illegal goods, no scams, no spam.
- No sexual, violent or shocking content.
- No anonymity: everything posted carries its author’s name.
Photos and screenshots
- An event’s album stays closed until 11:00, once the event is over, and is visible only to the people allowed in.
- If you recognise yourself in a photo, hide it in one tap (“this is me, hide it”). Without access to the album, email privacy@ephemeria.app.
- Do not repost album photos outside Ephemeria without the agreement of the people in them. To share, use the built-in share: the event’s arc, with no photos or names.
- A screenshot cannot always be prevented; on iOS, it may be recorded in the Nebula with your name and the time.
Reporting
Every post, comment, message, listing, event, photo and profile has a “Report” action. A report is confidential: the person reported does not learn who reported them. Without an account, email support@ephemeria.app.
Blocking
From a profile, you can block a student: they can no longer contact you. You will find the list of blocked people in Settings and can unblock them.
What happens next
- A member of the team reviews every report. Threats and safety issues come first; a photo removal request is reviewed within 72 hours.
- Depending on severity: content removal, warning, temporary suspension, permanent account deletion.
- The person concerned receives the decision and its reasons, and can appeal within 6 months by emailing support@ephemeria.app.
In an emergency
- If someone is in danger: call 112 (emergency) or 17 (police in France).
- Illegal content online: PHAROS (French government reporting platform).
- Cyberbullying in France: 3018, free and anonymous.
For associations and organisers
Organisers also agree to the organiser and seller terms: accurate information, attendance never invented, attendee data used only for the event.
